Hello folks! How are you this September day?
The leaves are again starting to fall, my little one is back to school a lot of my ongoing projects are..always on going..
I went through my bins O plenty and with my projects I have LOTS of supplies and extras. I thought I would just throw a few together and I think they turned out pretty nice.
So lets swap shall we?

A candle centerpiece: Gold leaves and gems
Pumpkin Display: This is a small version of something I do in October on my porch.

DeleteI think candy corn should be honored and immortalized as the candy not eaten much but then make the hellz out of it every year!! Long live Candy corn!! Hi Jane! Why is everyone DOWN on Candy Corn!!??? I personally really like it! It is full of sugar and preservatives and toxic colorant, what's not to love?????? I grew up poor and my mom used to buy it for Halloween because it was cheap and sweet and so I really do like it for nostalgic reasons as well as for the ones afore mentioned. Mind you, candy back in the Land Before Time, actually tasted different then, so maybe your bad feelings about it is because you have never tasted the original recipe. Just as Kentucky Fried Chicken actually tasted like fried chicken when I was growing up, as WAS finger licken' good; but now it tastes like deep, greasy, fried something or other, maybe chicken,..... but then again.... maybe not

DeleteI still buy "agent orange:..er Candy Corn every year, its not that I dislike its taste, I just find other uses for it, like.. letting it rot in the bowl for 2 months and then thinking why do I buy this?
My husband actually eats it, so I am thinking its not so bad..I just choose to poison myself with a bottle of wine once in a while. *cackle*

Hi Jane, Your post and these comments are sooooo fun. I ADORE your mini candy corn. I can't eat the real stuff now, due to allergies, but I loved them as a kid. Candy corn just says Halloween to me. Just found a miniature orange plastic trick-or-treating jack-o-lantern for holding candy for 75 cents at the Portland Miniature Show. I'm in love! :-) I also think of caramel apples when I think of Halloween--I love the contrast of green apple with caramel sauce--so pretty! You've really gotten me in the spirit now, haven't you, Jane?! :-D xo Jennifer
