Happy Valentines Day: Pictures of my 2 feet of snow..so far

Happy Valentines Day folks!!!

I hope you are feeling loved in your parts of the world!

I just wanted to throw a few pictures of the snowstorm we have just survived through. It was 24 hours of snow sleet and ..tears...

While where I live big snows are not uncommon they have been uncommon for the last 7 years..and I live in the boonies!

Last report for us in the states was, that 49 of 50 states had snow even areas that are uncommon for snow.

Well my day is going to be filled with love and shovels and warm thoughts and snowballs and hearts..in the snow.. and flowers..well in magazines anyways!

Here are some shots of the fun day I have ahead!

My car is hiding ;P

Hugs and luv to you all!

Hi, I just discovered your blog thanks to Plushpussycat :-). Wow, that's an amazing amount of snow! Here in Belgium we haven't had snow this year yet, and seeing your pictures I don't mind that at all! I'm looking forward to follow your blog!

    1. Welcome!

I must say it is no longer beautiful and seasonal snow as it is backbreaking and yucky! Maybe a light sprinkle for you..but that will be enough!
I hope you enjoy my little ramblings ;)

  9. Wow!!! That's A LOT of snow. I hope that's the end of it, that spring will come soon, and that your swap gifts will arrive any second now! ;-) Have some fun playing with minis as soon as possible, before you get Jack Nicholson-like cabin fever! he he xo Jennifer

  11. You can send the snow over here =) Almost all our snow melted this week, but it does snow right now, but its a bit too warm, so I guess it will melt in a couple of days.. but we do have 2cm or something like that.. But I love lots of snow , like in your pictures =) I'm not done with winter yet =)
Hope you can stay inside making minis now when its cold and snowy outside =)

  12. Wow, that's a lot of snow. I hear the snow this year has fallen in many places that used to be without snow. Denmark has the mildest winter for many years. No snow and plus degrees during the day. I hope you enjoy the snow. Either to enjoy indoors or playing in the snow.

  15. Arh, makes me feel cold and it is super hot here today. Your poor car needs a blanket. Hang in there, hopefully better weather is around the corner.

  16. I'm really happy you survived the snow storm! Wow what a lot of snow to shovel! I feel guilty about enjoying
that wonderful holiday by the lake while you are having to go through a bad storm. Wish I could send you some sunshine in exchange for a little snow.
Wishing you good weather and all the best, Hugs, Drora

  17. Well....that could be a paradise for people that love snow! At least it was sunny and I hope you enjoyed your valentines' time. In England there have been some very bad weather and at least, even if very cold, you are safe. Take care Jane!

  18. Hello Jane,
Snow always looks so beautiful and magical...until one has to shovel it!
    Big hug,

  19. Good luck with all the shoveling Jane! Be careful though because under the snow there is sometimes ice! Your photos remind me so much of my childhood! I used to live up north and it was always a hassle to shovel all the snow!
