Making random things: Looking at piles

I will have to start producing Easter items for the Easter room in Holiday Inc. I have to at least start making eggs. There is going to be ALOT of eggs ;)

I know I will be jumping around making random things, it's what I do.. I've accepted it.

I am a scatter brain when it comes to minis because I want to make ..everything that pops in my head. I am sure some of you know this well. *lol*

So I made these two pieces last night to see if I could....just random things..

Now I want to eat them...So maybe a roast is in order and definitely some berry cake.

I stared at my bins O'plenty again...I have things I've bought, things I've made and a surplus of supplies. I keep buying more  < gotta stop this)

Its nice to have a starting point or to be able to grab a bowl, basket or pot when needed.

Now to actually start grabbing them and not just stare at the lot ;)

  1. I need to come up with a better way to organize my minis, especially now that I have gotten into trash to treasure minis. Go to PB Wiki Mini Treasures Page and Enter Creative Minds are Rarely Tidy into the Search Bar. It probably give you a giggle :P I love that cake! And the Roast Beef! I am ready to start trying my hand at cakes but other foods scare the crap out of me! Keep up the good work hun.

    1. You'll get it, my first few looked like a lump of polymer clay crap but with practice makes better ;)

  2. The little cake is unbelievable! (The roast is too, but I'm a mostly-vegetarian.) I bought some sculpy when it was on sale at Michaels with the grand plan to make some miniature eggs - haven't tried it yet. I am in awe of your talent.

PS - your mini collection looks like my stash of "scrap crap!"

    1. Thanks hon ;)

Yeah you'll find once you start making things, you'll sit for one day and just make a load full ,hence the piles of dishes and baskets ;P

I have a scrap stash too ;) I just hid it for the shot *lol*

  3. LOL Its true..I have been known to just make paper clay jars and pumpkins for an entire afternoon. Then of course I have a tray that has to just sit there and dry../sigh The roast and cake look great and your stash too.
